This site provides a review of Charles Linden’s ‘ The Linden Method’. This is a self-help program for suffers of anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, phobias, de-personalisation and de-realisation. It is available on-line and is very well respected and used around the world. The program provides a range of techniques that sufferers can adopt. It explains and provides an understanding of how the brain works, the reason for problems. It explains how different parts of the brain function. Whilst one part in particular is responsible for creating the anxiety reflex. It tells the rest of our brain when to be afraid. It triggers the “fight or flight” response which was so important for our primeval relatives. The Linden Method was very useful in helping my family when my father suffered mental illness.
